Maria Alice Baggio

A journalist graduated from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Maria Alice won the SET Universitário contest with the audiovisual “Um Jeito Legal de Viver” in 1995. The same audiovisual won the audiovisual award at the International Human Sexuality Meeting held in São Paulo. In Japan in 1996, she specialized in Broadcasting for one year. She also completed her Master’s degree in 2002 in Production Engineering, with a thesis on Multimedia Narrative using virtual reality. Maria Alice has held teaching positions at various institutions including FURB, ESAG Foundation (Unica), IES (Higher Institute of Education of Greater Florianópolis).

She was a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina in the Distance Learning Laboratory. She is currently a full professor and coordinator in Lages at Facvest College, overseeing courses in Advertising and Public Relations. She is also a full professor at Uniplac and Univale, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses.
Maria Alice taught subjects related to audiovisual production, such as scriptwriting, non-linear scripting, multimedia, instructional design, visual communication, and advertising. She also worked on the finalization of the short film "O Pintor e o Oceano" (The Painter and the Ocean). She has worked in audiovisual production at SET and Sinergia production companies (1994 and 1998). Additionally, Maria Alice holds an MBA in environmental management. She is fluent in English, having completed a full course at CCAA, and has basic knowledge of Japanese.
